How to import a theme .zip into Kajabi
To import a theme into Kajabi, go to Website → Design → Themes, choose to upload a theme, select your .zip, then preview it before activating. Your current live theme stays untouched until you activate the new one.
- Kajabi accepts theme files as a .zip
- Uploading doesn't change your live site
- Kajabi limits theme uploads to about 10 MB
Before you upload
Keep your current theme as a backup — Kajabi lets you switch back anytime.
Make sure the .zip is under Kajabi's size limit (see our size-limit guide).
How it works

Open Themes
In Kajabi, go to Website → Design → Themes.

Upload the .zip
Choose upload theme and select the file exported from Pro Studio.

Preview
Open the new theme in the editor and check each page and mobile view.

Activate
When everything looks right, activate the theme to make it live.
Frequently asked questions
Will uploading a theme delete my Kajabi content?
No. Courses, offers, blog posts, and contacts are separate from the theme. Only the website design changes when you activate.
