Working with the in-app AI Designer

The AI Designer is built into your project editor. Talk through a new design or request a precise change while you see the page beside the conversation.

Open the chat for your project

Choose a project card on the dashboard. The editor opens with the sidebar showing Chat by default. You can switch to Editor for manual changes and return to Chat without losing the conversation.

    Give it a useful brief

Explain the result you want, who it is for, and what should stay unchanged. Include real copy and business details rather than expecting the AI to invent them.

“Rewrite the hero for busy business owners. Keep the photo and layout. Make the heading more direct, and change the button text to Book a call.”

Build a whole website or clone one you own

Name the pages you need and ask for a consistent brand, shared navigation and footer. For a clone, provide URLs you own or have permission to rebuild, and explain what should match.

“Build Home, About, Services and Contact for my coaching business. Use the attached brand brief and photos, keep navigation consistent, and restyle the built-in Kajabi pages to match.”

Create imagery and refine the look

Ask for a new image or graphic when you do not have one, or use your own uploaded photos. The AI can adjust typography, colors, layouts and spacing alongside the copy. New builds default to Pro themes; Encore Supercharged is also available for landing pages when named in your request.

“Create a landscape image for this section that fits our wellness brand. Keep the heading and button unchanged.”

    Attach images and documents

Use the paperclip, drop a file into the composer, or paste an image. Supported files include PNG, JPEG, WebP, GIF, PDF, Word (.docx), and text files. Your sent attachments stay with the conversation. Add new files before starting a request; attachments are unavailable while the AI is already working.

    • Attach up to 5 files per message, with a 4 MB maximum per file. Text extraction has additional length limits.
    • The conversation has an 8 MB total attachment limit; use smaller files if you reach it.
    • Use your own photos and logo, or attach a screenshot for a visual comparison.
    • An attached reference does not automatically become a page image; say where to use it.

Steer a build while it works

You can type and send a text update during a running build. The AI picks it up at its next step, not in the middle of an action that is already underway.

“Keep the layout you are building, but use the original headline and make the button salmon instead of black.”

Stop, then decide what to do next

Use the square Stop control to halt further work. A change already in flight may still finish. Stop does not undo changes that have already been saved. Review the preview before sending a narrower follow-up. If a run stops at its limit, you can say continue; another request is still subject to the account’s limits.

Read the result, not every internal step

Finished requests show your messages and the AI’s final reply. Expand Worked through to inspect intermediate activity when you need it. History returns to the latest messages; you can scroll back to earlier requests.

    • Saved changes and verified visual results are different: if a reply says a check failed, inspect the preview yourself.
    • AI can miss details. Review the result before export rather than treating a completion message as approval.
    • Build duration varies with the request, imagery, and visual checks; there is no guaranteed completion time.

    Keep your tools optional

Use Editor for manual adjustments whenever you prefer. MCP is a separate, optional way to control Pro Studio from an outside assistant; it is not required for the in-app AI Designer.
