Make targeted changes to Kajabi pages
You do not need to rebuild a site to change a heading, image, or section. Name the change, name its location, and tell the AI what must stay.
Use the page you are viewing
The chat receives the page you are viewing when you send the request. If you say this page or the hero without naming another page, that is its starting context. Switching pages while work is running does not redirect that request.
“On this page, change only the hero button text to Work with me. Leave its link, colors, and layout unchanged.”
Name the section and the result
Be concrete: a new headline, a replacement image, an exact color, or a layout adjustment. Small, well-scoped changes need less investigation than a broad request to make the page better.
“On About, replace the opening paragraph with the copy attached. Keep every other section unchanged.”
Request changes across named pages
Name each existing page explicitly and describe what should happen on each. Avoid everything or the whole site unless that is genuinely your intention. Targeted follow-ups are for existing pages; adding or removing pages is a separate structural request, not something to assume will happen during a copy edit.
“On About and Work With Me, change the main button text to Book a consultation. Keep all other pages and sections unchanged.”
Match the right source page
For a clone correction, give the exact reference URL and the part that should match. This is more useful than referring vaguely to the source. Describe whether you mean the background, spacing, text, imagery, or the entire section.
“Match only the About hero background gradient to https://example.com/about. Keep the current heading, photo, and button. Do not change the rest of the page.”
Know when a change is sitewide
Shared headers, footers, and global styles can affect multiple pages. Say whether you want a shared change or a one-page exception. Review another page after any sitewide change.
“Change the shared footer background to black on every page, with readable light text. Leave the page content unchanged.”
Check and correct without starting over
Review the changed area and mobile view. If it is not right, describe the remaining difference and keep the follow-up narrow. If you want a previous version restored, specify exactly what should return; do not assume Stop or deleting the chat restores the design.
